Salvation

THE POWER OF SALVATION:

Romans 10:9-10 KJV

[9] that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

[10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Within the process of Salvation we believe Repentance is necessary to achieve the mind and will of the father.

Repentance is defined as a change of mind as it relates to the course of life.

There’re 3 aspects of Repentance

1 Intellectual

2 Emotional

3 Volitional

These 3 elements equate to being Godly sorrowful for our sins.

The Word of God teaches us that the wages of sin is death. This is the wonderful message of the gospel. Jesus took our place on calvary he became sin and died for us so we don’t have to die.

Romans 6:6-9 KJV

[6] knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

[7] For he that is dead is freed from sin.

[8] Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

[9] knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
